Effect of aerobic and resistance exercises on body composition and quality of life in overweight and obese women: a randomized control trial

BackgroundObesity has become a major health issue in the world and directly reduces quality of life. The aim this study was to compare effect aerobic resistance exercises on body composition life (QoL) overweight obese women. Method An experimental involving 90 overweight/obese women aged between 20-45 years participated voluntarily were randomized into control (n=30), exercise (AE) (RE) (n=30) groups. Either AE or RE groups performed for 60 minutes per day 10 weeks, whereas group did not perform any exercise. QoL measured before after ResultsBody weight, BMI, fat mass, waist hip circumferences decreased significantly both intervention compared (p<0.05).
